On 23-24 March, Motorola hosted the annual event "Nordic Partner Conference". Approximately 150 people from partner companies in the Nordic region participated at the conference. PocketMobile were there as an exhibitor and speaker in the program. Kristian Sandahl, Marketing Manager at PocketMobile, told the audience about the Platform Offer - partner companies have the opportunity to develop mobile solutions and systems directly on the PreCom Platform. Fredrik Jonasson, Project Manager for Mobile Data at Schenker, gave a presentation about the PreCom solution that is now deployed and is being used in about 4,000 trucks. PocketMobile was nominated for, and won the award ”Motorola Nordic ISV Partner 2009” – an award we are very proud of and which is in line with our vision: to become the industry standard for Mobile Enterprise Application Platforms.

 

 

PreCom 3 tested and approved by Motorola
For years, PocketMobile and Motorola have maintained a close cooperation and the technical platform PreCom is the basis for all mobile systems and solutions developed by PocketMobile. About 60% of all PreCom end users currently use one of Motorola's mobile devices. PreCom version 3 has been tested and approved for use on Motorola's rugged models MC70, MC75 and MC55, and PreCom has reached "Motorola Enterprise Compatibility status" for these units.
