Panaxia Security rolls out in-house developed mobile solution based on PreCom
Panaxia has signed a partnership agreement with PocketMobile and is now a PreCom Development Partner. System developers at Panaxia was trained and certified on PreCom to be able to develop mobile solutions and systems on the PreCom Platform. Now Panaxia’s internal IT department has developed and rolled out a new mobile solution for their security guards, completely developed on PreCom. The mobile solution is used during guard patrols for improved safety and to manage daily cash statements - 160 000 daily cash statements are scanned each month. So far, the mobile solution is rolled out to 40 security guards with the goal to have one hundred security guards using the solution before the year end.
- Our IT department started developing quickly and we are very pleased with the outcome. The solution allows our business to develop even more, improve the safety for our employees and increase the service level to our customers, says Åke Forsberg, IT Director at Panaxia. We are already discussing how to further develop enterprise mobility and we conclude that there is great potential for the future.
Panaxia Security is a security group that offers a range of services within security and logistics for example cash transportation, cash management, logistics, security, surveillance and technology. The Panaxia Security Group conducts a nationwide operation in 23 locations in Sweden and has approximately 1200 employees.
